CONSTRUCTION:

The costume was bought first, but we were really disappointed with it. The overcoat and tabard were both used as patterns for a new set, made from velvet and suede respectively.

Every piece of trim is made with craft foam. Including the cuffs and the lapels. The gems came from the original costume but were repurposed for foam. 

I cut heat vinyl pieces for the tabard patterns, and also hand painted the dragon scales with fabric paint. 

To get the gradient on both pieces, we spray painted them.

The shoes were thrifted.
